ABOUT ME

I am a multidisciplinary designer based in Hong Kong and London. Treating people and subjects with care is an essential characteristic of my design practice. I care about the work I create, utilising techniques across design disciplines that are most suitable for each project. I am concerned about the society I live in and strive to create socially engaged projects.

Currently, I am working at Arup's Transformation & Design Studio while also developing my indie game about penguins.

APPROACH

I am passionate about what design can bring to different challenges people face. I apply holistic and empathetic design approaches to explore the problem spaces and to create positive change in people’s lives and the environment. Working on a diverse range of systematic challenges for both the public and private sectors—including flooding risks, climate mitigation, housing, digital transformation, public health, and one-health—I have developed design-led strategies and innovations rooted in human insights.

Digital Media & Tools

Using digital media and tools as a response to some of the systematic challenges we face in our everyday socities. I developed user-friendly experiences and interfaces for websites, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality tools.

Design Research

Whether it is research on wicked problems or exploring strategic futures, I developed research plans and delivered research session to gather insights and inspire solutions.

User Experience

Exploring user experience from a digtial screen, multiple touchpoints to a physical space, I used a mix of user research, workshops, personas, content planning, service design, user flows & wireframes to create meaningful and seamless experiences.

Visual & Making

Using visuals to communicate complex concepts and strategies as well as a tool to engage people. I enjoy making prototypes and artefacts to bring people to the project.

Strategy

Taking a service design approach, I advised digital services and transformation strategies, helping clients leverage technology and overcome operational problems.
